Sarah Beth Swain
Hello, my name is Sarah Beth Swain. My alma mater is Jeff Davis High school and I truly love being a Jacket graduate and now employee.
When I graduated from Jeff Davis High School, I obtained my Bachelor's in Mathematics at Valdosta State University. I then continued in my education with a Master's of Arts in Teaching, Specialist in Instructional Technology, and an add-on to my degree in Educational Leadership.
I have been with Jeff Davis High School as a math teacher for 12 years teaching many courses including Geometry, Precalculus, and AP Calculus. I am gifted certified, I also have an online teaching endorsement, and AP Calculus AB certified. I have worked as head of the math department for three years. I have spoken at the Jeff Davis High School technology summit, the state math conference GCTM, and at the state technology conference GAETC. I have worked as a School Improvement Specialist at Jeff Davis for one year.
I am currently the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction with Jeff Davis High School. I help students plan through registration, work on scheduling, and am dual enrollment coordinator. I will be glad to help you in any way I can.
When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, working out, and spending time with my family.
