Constance Hester, RN
Hello! My name is Constance Hester and I am the school nurse at Jeff Davis High School. I graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 2000. I obtained my Associate of Science in Nursing from South Georgia State College in 2003. After graduation I began my nursing career at a hospital in a neighboring community. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University in 2023. My nursing experience as a Registered Nurse includes charge nurse roles, medical-surgical, pediatrics, orthopedics, nursery, and mother-baby. I have been employed as a school nurse since 2016.
I enjoy school nursing and am thankful for the opportunity to serve students. My main goal is to make sure that students are healthy and ready to learn. I feel that it is important to have good communication with parents about their child's health. Each student should have a health form completed by a parent/guardian on file in the nurses office for the current school year. Please make sure your child has returned this form to school. It is very important to notify your child's school nurse of any medical conditions such as diabetes, asthma, severe allergies, and seizures.
If you have any concerns or questions, please reach out to me via email or by calling
